Matt Carter - Managing Director
Having spent 20 years living abroad and 15 years working for travel companies in four different countries, Matt brings world class travel planning experience and deep destination knowledge to every journey he designs. His reason for doing this work is simple. He wants the planning process to feel just as memorable as the trip itself.
Whether it is a couple who value good service and their own time, a multi generational family heading to the islands, or a group of mates exploring Asia, Matt approaches every journey with obsessive attention to detail and a very real curiosity. His belief is clear. No two travellers are the same, so no two itineraries should be either.
Over the years Matt has built strong relationships with trusted hoteliers, airlines and destination experts around the world. This means access to perks, upgrades and experiences that most travellers never even know are possible. More than that, it means knowing when to bend the rules for big families, when to beat the queues, and when to pick the room with the view that actually matters. Your trip genuinely matters to him.
Outside the world of travel planning, Matt is a dad, a football coach, an inspired golfer, a steady coffee drinker and someone who believes that a great trip can stay with you for life. Journeys Retold is his way of helping people see more of the world, make memories and connect with each other, one story worth sharing at a time. Lindy Nelson Parker - Director
Lindy is the strategic engine behind Journeys Retold. With a background in marketing, sales and business leadership, she brings a clear, considered approach to how the agency grows, operates and stays ahead. Her focus spans strategy, new business development and shaping the premium client experience that defines the Journeys Retold brand.
Travel has been a constant thread in Lindy’s life. She has lived in Vietnam, France, Australia, the UK and New Zealand and travelled widely across Europe, Asia and North America. These experiences give her an instinctive understanding of cultures, destinations and the small details that turn a good trip into a memorable one. Her curiosity for people and places contributes to the way Journeys Retold designs trips that feel personal, meaningful and well-crafted.
Behind the scenes, Lindy leads the agency’s marketing direction and brand storytelling. She ensures the message is clear, the partnerships are purposeful and the client experience is consistently high touch from the first enquiry to the final day of travel. Her commercial experience helps guide the business through each stage of growth, balancing creativity with structure and strategic clarity.
Outside of work, Lindy is passionate about fitness, food and living well. She brings this same energy to the agency’s culture: thoughtful, warm, driven and always looking for ways to elevate what Journeys Retold delivers. Her global perspective and commitment to creating memorable experiences make her an integral part of the journey we share with every client.
